Spring Fundraiser

On Sunday, April 14, nearly 400 guests joined us at the beautiful Arts District Mansion to welcome internationally renowned and bestselling author, journalist, and philanthropist Mitch Albom to Dallas. In a conversation moderated by Good Morning Texas host Jane McGarry, Mitch shared reflective lessons from the New York Times bestselling memoir of all time, Tuesdays with Morrie, and his newest novel, The Little Liar, told against the backdrop of the Holocaust, to discuss modern-day antisemitism and his philanthropic work with children in Haiti. What an inspirational and unforgettable afternoon!

Through our mission to teach the history of the Holocaust and advance human rights to combat prejudice, hatred, and indifference, the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum helps students gain a deeper understanding of history, its connections to the present, and the skills they need to become an Upstander – someone who sees something wrong and works to make it right. Thanks to the leadership of Event Co-Chairs Fredye Levit Factor and Sarah Losinger, the 2024 Spring Host Committee, and to our generous supporters, we successfully exceeded the goal for this important fundraiser for the Museum, making our year-round educational work possible!
