The Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance condemns the coordinated terrorist attacks by Islamist militants in Sri Lanka that have claimed 290 lives. These cowardly attacks on Christian churches and hotels on Easter Sunday are despicable. We reject all forms of extremism and stand for freedom of religion and the right to worship safely.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to the victims and their families. We stand with the Sri Lankan people and government as they bring to justice the perpetrators of these heinous terrorist attacks.
Our mission is to teach the history of the Holocaust and advance human rights to combat prejudice, hatred, and indifference.
